Immersion Workshop - Nashville, January 12-15
This immersion workshop is an opportunity to dive into Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies. Participants can expect to enhance kinesthetic awareness, develop movement connectivity, hone observation and coaching skills, and come away with articulate movement language in this 4 day workshop.
The course physically and theoretically examines all major components of the Laban/Bartenieff System: Irmgard Bartenieff's somatic system and Basic Six Exercises, Integrated Movement Studies' Patterns of Total Body Connectivity, and Laban's theories of Effort, Shape, and Space Harmony. As a community of people invested in the value of human movement, we will hold the question: what can I know from my moving body?
NOTE - Completing payment is the last step of the registration process. Both payment options will reserve your seat in the workshop. If selecting the “Deposit only” option, the remaining balance must be paid by January 12 to participate in the workshop.
